Che Vivo is headquartered on our family farm / ranch
Situated in the high Sonoran desert of Arizona.
It is here, on this arid desert plot,
That we learn first hand
What it takes to grow the kind of food
That enables us to regain and maintain
Our health.
From our home base,
We reach out to like-minded growers
In other regions of the world
To source food stuff we need but cannot grow locally.
Tea is one of the major crops that we import.
The "tea folks"
That we have been connecting
And associating with
Over the last 20 years -
Tea farmers,
Tea masters,
Tea scientists -
Are highly skilled in their crafts,
And uncompromising in their efforts
In maintaining unsurpassed standards of
Purity,
Integrity,
And potency
Of their teas.
They understand the lasting impact
Of their work,
Not just on themselves,
But also on others,
And mostly on the next generation.
The concepts of
Organic,
Biodynamic,
Regenerative
Farming practices and processing methods
Are not mere idle and trendy words
Spewed out for marketing purposes.
They are realities
That present real challenges
To be dealt with on a daily basis.
There are always difficult choices to be made,
And consequences to consider.
So our "tea folks" choose their paths wisely.
And we all benefit from their choices.
Hence we choose to support them.
This is a full circle
And a tightly knit community.
Every tea we select for our collection
Is the result of ongoing deliberation
Among members of our community of
Tea farmers,
Tea masters,
Tea scientists,
Tea related artisan food producers,
And tea consumers.
We are honored
To be allowed to wear many hats in this circle,
To participate in these conversations,
And to be an active part of this very short
And direct chain of supply of tea.
We strive to make good tea available to all.
We invite you to join our tea circle,
To become a part of our community
As we continue
To make lasting connections
Built on integrity and trust.
